The Process For IIT Admission

Candidates must pass their PCM board exams as major subjects with a minimum of 75% overall. The credentials frequently differ based on the reservation. National Testing Agency (NTA) administers the JEE examinations (JEE Main and JEE Advanced). The JEE Mains scores have no bearing on a candidate’s rank for IIT admission, as the entire ranking is determined by the candidate’s performance on the JEE Advanced exam.

After the JEE has disclosed advanced ranks, aspirants must indicate their preferences for a specific IIT stream. Then, after a few days, seat allocation is determined based on the choice that best corresponds to the score and the availability of seats. If applicants are seeking admission to IIT, they must then confirm their seat for a specified term.

Each IIT must finalize its admission date and the necessary registration procedure and documentation. All of these data will be made accessible on the website of the institute.
