Cinema: Its Uses And Abuses Essay

Here we discussed about Cinema: Its Uses And Abuses Essay. Cinema is one of the great scientific achievements, and it is now one of the most popular ways to have fun. Even the smallest towns have their own “picture house.” Who would have thought a hundred years ago that pictures of men and women could stand up and act? It is one of the most-liked ways to have fun. It has managed to push many other ways to have fun to the background. It can be used in good ways and bad ways.

Today, cinema is one of the most popular ways to have fun and learn new things. People talk a lot about movie stars and what they have done. The young want to know what’s going on in the world of movies right now. The number of people who go to the movies regularly is growing quickly. This has also made more people buy film magazines and other similar weekly publications.

Cinema is a great way to learn as well as to have fun. A student can learn something for good if he or she can read and see it. The knowledge he gained in this way would stay with him forever. We read a lot of things, but when we can see them on the screen, they really stick in our minds.

Cinema: Its Uses And Abuses Essay

In the cinema, we can learn about other countries even if we don’t have the time or money to go there. We learn about their way of life, their cultures, and the things they do. I saw the movie Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge in a picture. This picture shows some of Switzerland’s most beautiful and charming sights. We can see how hardworking the Swiss are now that we’ve seen the movie. Even though it’s a small country, it’s been planned and built with skill and creativity. The homes, roads, hotels, train stations, and farms are all set up in a beautiful way. There are a lot more movies that teach, thrill and keep us busy.

Students can also learn about history, geography, and science from movies. It teaches us about dry topics in a way that is interesting. TV and movie experts teach us about these topics by showing us movies with different examples, so even young people remember them well. For example, “The Sword of Tipu Sultan,” a successful historical show that aired on Doordarshan, was about a sword.

The movies preach and teach us about right and wrong. Every good movie has something to teach us about life. In the movie Savitri, we see how much a wife loves her husband and how she can beat death. Krishna Sudama shows us how Sudama’s true devotion to God helped him go from being very poor to being rich and powerful. Films like Shaheed teach us the value of being a martyr. Children with autism have been shown to us in movies like “Taare Zameen Par.”

This is just the bright side of things. But even roses have thorns. It hurts to see that the movie business has turned into a money-making business. Filmmakers worship money and don’t care much about the moral side of movies. Young boys and girls’ minds have been messed up by the movies of today. They are easily taken in by modern styles. Boys think that being rude is smart because that’s what their heroes do. They often act very boldly and rudely, not caring about words like “politeness,” “respect,” or “decency.”

It’s time for the movie industry to wake up from its deep sleep and stop making movies that teach young people to be immoral. The kids of today will be in charge of things in the future. So, it’s important to teach them to be willing to sacrifice, work hard, be honest, help others, and act well. These things should be given more attention.

Films should be put into different categories, such as instructive, social, moral, action, romantic, funny, and literary so that people from all walks of life can find entertainment that suits their tastes.

Conclusion:

To sum up, we can say that movies are a great way to learn and have fun. And it’s a cheap way to have fun that even a poor person can pay for. It would be good for society as a whole if both movie makers and the government made movies that promoted moral and artistic values.
