Social Science board exam paper carries a weightage of 20 marks from each section, i.e., 20 marks from History, 20 marks from Civics, 20 marks from Geography and 20 from Economics. On the whole, you will be attempting 80 marks paper.

• Section A consists of 20 questions which are from 1 – 20 and each question carries 1 mark each. In this section, you can find questions like:

• Fill in the blanks
• Multiple choices
• Match the column
• Very short answer
• Picture based

• Section B consists of 8 questions which are from 21 – 28 and each question carries 3 marks each. In this section, you can maintain a minimum word count of 80 – 100.
• Section C consists of 6 questions which are from 29 – 34 and each question carries 5 marks each. In this section, you can maintain a minimum word count of 120 – 150.
• Question 35 has 2 sections 35 A and 35 B. Both are map-based questions and both together carry 6 marks. Sometimes, it could be like 2 marks for 35A and 4 marks for 35B and sometimes, it changes visa verse.

NOTE: It is to be noted that, the third chapter from History – The Rise of Nationalism in India, is one of the most important and compulsory chapters. It is suggested to prepare this chapter thoroughly.
