- Section A consists of 20 questions which are from 1 – 20 and each question carries 1 mark each. In this section, you can find questions like:

- Section B consists of 8 questions which are from 21 – 28 and each question carries 3 marks each. In this section, you can maintain a minimum word count of 80 – 100.
- Section C consists of 6 questions which are from 29 – 34 and each question carries 5 marks each. In this section, you can maintain a minimum word count of 120 – 150.
- Question 35 has 2 sections 35 A and 35 B. Both are map-based questions and both together carry 6 marks. Sometimes, it could be like 2 marks for 35A and 4 marks for 35B and sometimes, it changes visa verse.
NOTE: It is to be noted that, the third chapter from History – The Rise of Nationalism in India, is one of the most important and compulsory chapters. It is suggested to prepare this chapter thoroughly.
