History of NASDAQ
- NASDAQ was founded by the NASD on 8 February 1971. (National Association of Securities Dealers). Currently, it was a computer bulletin board program.
- In 1975, it created the IPO (initial public offering) that allowed development corporations to raise capital to establish their businesses.
- The NASDAQ-100 Index was launched in 1985.
