From Lucknow to Kathgodam is a pretty exciting trip. I’ve always made sure to reserve my seats ahead of time. So, my train trip starts from Lucknow station. As the train starts moving and leaves the Lucknow train station, I start to get more and more excited. Also, as the train picks up speed, I get an exciting feeling.

The train ride from Lucknow to Kathgodam will probably take me between 8 and 10 hours. But, even though the trip is long, I enjoy every minute of it. On top of that, you can buy food and drinks at any time during the trip. Almost always, I buy food and drinks at least twice during the trip.

When I feel like sleeping, I use the sleeping berth. I find it very comfortable to sleep in the berth of a train. When I wake up from a deep sleep, I can see mountains far away. Also, as the train speeds up and gets closer to Kathgodam, the mountains get bigger and bigger in the view. Also, seeing the Himalayas get closer makes me laugh a lot more. At last, when the train stops in Kathgodam, my wonderful train trip is over.
