Eligibility requirements for CFA
To become a CFA, an individual must pass all three levels of the Chartered Financial Analyst Exam administered by the CFA Institute, namely levels I, II, and III. Three levels of the CFA course must be completed in approximately one and a half years. After completing the course, students will be awarded the CFA designation. The three tests, excluding level I, are held annually in June, however, they may also be administered in December. The candidate who desires to become a CFA must possess the following credentials:
- Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree or be in their last year of bachelor’s degree coursework to enroll in the course.
- The applicant must have at least four years of experience in a relevant field.
- The candidate must have a combination of four years of professional experience and education.
