What is the full form of BAMS?

The BAMS full form is Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery. BAMS is a five-and-a-half-year degree program that combines the study of traditional Ayurveda medicine and contemporary medicine. The program consists of 4.5 years of academic sessions and one year of mandatory internship.

Eligibility criteria

  • The minimum criteria for admission to the BAMS program is a grade of between 45 and 50 percent in Biology from a recognized board in the 12th grade.
