The MD full form is Doctor of Medicine. The MD is a three-year postgraduate degree earned after finishing an MBBS program. After three years of training, the MD degree is awarded for nonsurgical topics. Since MD is a postgraduate degree, applicants must possess an MBBS to qualify for the program. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) administers the Joint Medical Services Exam annually in order to hire these physicians in various government organizations.
