Shastri Ji has also worked for the country in the past as Minister of Police, Minister of Transport, Minister of Rail, and Minister of Home Affairs. His qualities as a leader—firm determination, patience, and honesty in what he said and what he did—made him known all over the world. Aside from being easy to understand, I liked the unique way he solved different problems. Since he grew up in a normal family, he understood the pain of the average people in our country.
