What is the Full form of NEET?
The NEET full form is the National Entrance Cum Eligibility Test. NEET is an admission exam for various undergraduate medical programs, including BDS, MBBS, BAMS, BHMS, BSMS, BUMS, and others, in both government and private medical colleges. NTA (National Testing Agency) is the regulating body for the NEET UG Exam and administers it annually throughout India. This objective question-based entrance examination (MCQ) is administered offline to around 11-13 lakh applicants annually.

NEET Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate must be an Indian citizen. If the candidate is not an Indian resident, he or she must be an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), a Non-Resident Indian (NRI), or a Person of Indian Origin (PIO).
- The minimum age requirement for all categories of candidates is 17 years old.
- The maximum age limit for pupils in the general population is 25 years.
- The maximum age for students in reserved groups is 30 years old.
Required Qualification To Attend NEET Test
Students must have taken the Class 12 board test or an equivalent examination from a recognized board or university, with at least five required subjects, including physics, chemistry, biology, English, and an elective topic.
In qualifying tests, candidates must achieve the required cumulative grade point average. For applicants in the general category, the aggregate marks are 50%, whereas for candidates in the general category who are physically challenged, it is 45%. For SC, ST, or OBC applicants, 40% marks are required, and for SC, ST, or OBC candidates with a disability, 40% marks are required.
NEET Question Papers
The National Testing Agency will issue a question paper organized by code for the offline entrance exam. The NEET will publish examinations in national and nine regional languages. Applicants will be required to select their chosen language for the examination while completing the application form.
