What is the Full form of JAIIB?
The JAIIB full form is the Junior Associate of the Indian Institute of the Bankers. It is an associate examination administered by the IIBF (Indian Institute of Banking and Finance). This examination evaluates a candidate’s foundational knowledge of the banking industry. A person must be well-versed in banking and financial services, customer relations, financial technology, and accounting, among numerous other facets of banking.

Only members of the IIBF are permitted to take the examination. According to a notification posted on its website, it is conducted in Hindi or English online in the majority of centers and in offline mode in a subset of centers.
JAIIB Examination Format
- The examination is administered on three consecutive Sundays, i.e., one paper per Sunday.
- Every exam has approximately 120 objective-type questions.
- The duration of the exam is two hours, and it is worth 100 points.
- The minimum passing grade for any topic or paper is 50 out of 100 points.
